In 2018 the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) released its redistribution report of Federal seats in Victoria which found that, due to an increase in Victoria’s population, there will be an increase in the seats in Victoria from 37 to 38, and the Federal Parliament will increase from 150 to 151 seats.
